I do not think I am alone when I say that the real potential threats in the SaaS world, and even in the more generic web 2.0 world, are companies like Cisco, and to a lesser extent – WebEx. (Google, Facebook an Salesforce.com be damned)

And now, my good friend and esteemed CRM observer Paul Greenberg is taking note of the power that Cisco can wield in an era of ubiquitous connectivity and reliance on networks of various size and scope. His latest blog entry included a cool video from Cisco that exhibits some of this cool power.

Imagine – a customer support agent that you can see, feel, and interact with…there are so many potential customer experience optimizations with this type of telepresence technology…very cool stuff.
