A Few Thoughts on Bean Counting…

Apple continues to amaze me for so many reasons, both in the manner in which they drive market innovation with their products and services and also through their keen sense of advertising. The sheer volume of demand they’re able to generate is awesome, and their App Store is proof of that.

But it’s also their sense of openness and honesty over their proprietary-based brethren that also continues to catch my attention, and the latest “Get a Mac” commercial from this weekend is no exception. Not only do they continue to inform consumers with a straight-up, no nonsense approach, this latest commercial also does a great job of demonstrating why spending more money on sales and marketing rather then on product engineering truly is one of the greatest follies of the software industry.
